All MBCT Groups are based on the 8 week group model, created by Dr. Zindel Segal.
Whether it's depression, anxiety, or other distress that you experience, MBCT Groups have been shown to reduce limbic hyper-arousal.
This 8 week program has been shown to increase cortical thickness, in addition to the limbic results. The outcome is a clearer & calmer mind.
All group members are required to meet with Caty for an intake session & see a therapist regularly. If needed, group members can easily request an individual appointment with Caty.
All extra materials (the MBCT workbook, meditation CDs, & meditation app) are free of extra charge.
